As a Data Engineer / analyst at zweipunkt, you combine technical expertise, organisational skills and business acumen – and make data truly usable.

Specifically, you will be working in the following areas:

Data Integration & ETL

  • You will develop robust ETL processes using Python, Cloud Functions and Dataform.

  • You will orchestrate data pipelines to connect and harmonise a wide variety of data sources (e.g. CRM, Ads, Social, Web, ERP, Offline)

Data Architecture & Infrastructure

  • You model and manage data in Google BigQuery – ensuring scalability, high performance and cost-optimisation

  • You develop architectures that cleverly combine both technical requirements and business logic.

  • You think in terms of structures that can grow with the business over the long term – maintainable, efficient and practical. You think not only technically, but also in terms of solutions that really work for our clients.

Data Analysis & Visualisation

  • You design, implement and validate data models, aggregations and KPIs – with the aim of mapping business-relevant logic precisely and transparently.

  • You model operational and strategic business processes based on data and develop robust decision-making frameworks.

  • You visualise insights in interactive dashboards – e.g. using Tableau or Power BI – in a way that is clear, actionable and tailored to the target audience.

Consulting & Enablement

  • You work closely with clients to understand requirements and develop data-driven solutions

  • You support analysts in the effective use of data, tools and technologies.

  • You document your architecture, pipelines and KPIs clearly and in a way that is easy to maintain.

Co-creation & Project Responsibility

  • You will take responsibility for (sub-)projects – both internally and externally.

  • You will help shape the further development of our agency – technically, methodologically and organisationally.

  • You actively contribute your experience to the further development of our methodology, tools and standards.

What you bring with you

Essential requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and relational databases, as well as modern cloud data warehouses (ideally with Google BigQuery).

  • Excellent programming skills in Python for ETL, data preparation and API integrations.

  • Experience with Dataform, dbt or similar transformation tools.

  • Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket and collaborative workflows.

  • Knowledge of GCP (including Cloud Functions, Cloud Run where applicable, Scheduler, IAM).

  • Ability to present technical concepts in a way that is understandable to different audiences.

  • Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work and a pragmatic approach to implementation.

  • Team spirit, initiative and a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • German (C1/C2) and English (min. B2/C1).

 

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI (dashboard design and implementation).

  • Experience with advanced analytics, AI & machine learning – e.g. predictive insights or anomaly detection for operational and strategic issues.

  • Knowledge of digital analytics, tag management (e.g. GTM, Tealium) or Google Analytics.

  • Expertise in marketing & customer analytics (e.g. customer journeys, website/app, social media, advertising, CRM, newsletters).

  • Project experience in cross-functional teams or within an agency environment.

  • You have strong self-management, social, communication and organisational skills, an interest in entrepreneurial topics and are motivated to actively shape and drive your professional and personal development.

  • You have a solid command of German (C1/C2) and English (at least B2/C1), both written and spoken.
