What you can achieve with us

As a BI Developer & Consultant, you’ll work at the intersection of data modelling, visualisation, consulting and enablement – helping to establish BI as an integral part of our clients’ data-driven decision-making processes.

Specifically, you will be working in the following areas:

Strategic BI Consulting & Infrastructure

  • You will assist with the specification of key performance indicators, authorisation and role concepts, and governance rules.

  • You will be a consultant who advises on architectural decisions and the selection of suitable tools, data sources and interfaces.

  • You will manage the BI infrastructure at the tool level – e.g. through the setup, configuration and maintenance of Tableau Server/Cloud or Power BI Service.

Modelling & Data Quality

  • You will ensure that all visualisations are based on a consistent, traceable and maintainable data foundation.

  • You analyse requirements, existing business logic and available data structures to develop targeted data models for BI applications. You model and transform data directly within the BI tool (e.g. DAX, LOD) or via SQL (e.g. views in BigQuery).

  • You define and document KPIs, mappings and semantic structures.

  • You ensure that data models are structured in a logical, robust and future-proof manner.

Data Visualisation & Insights

  • You design and develop dashboards – depending on the use case, target audience and platform strategy.

  • You design visualisations that convey complex relationships clearly and interactively.

  • You use BI tools as a lever for control, transparency and optimisation in both operational and strategic processes.

Training, Enablement & Data Culture

  • You will deliver on-the-job training and support analysts, power users and business units in the efficient use of BI tools.

  • You share best practices for self-service, documentation and sustainable data maintenance.

  • You will support the organisational integration of BI – for example, through defined roles, processes and responsibilities.

Co-creation, Project Responsibility & Community

  • You will lead (sub-)projects independently and work closely with projectmanagers and stakeholders.

  • You actively contribute your experience to the further development of our processes, tools and standards – technically, methodologically and culturally.

  • You keep up to date with current trends and best practices in the field of BI & visualisation and actively participate in specialist communities, meetups or conferences.
