Tag management systems such as GTM or Tealium are ideal for anyone working in the field of tag management. The use of a tag management system is always preferable to the manual implementation of marketing tags. It is not possible to say conclusively which tool is better and it depends very much on the needs of the specific application. In particular, the connection of GTM to other Google services is both its greatest strength and its weakness: Anyone who works a lot and closely with other Google products will be able to easily integrate GTM into the existing tracking and analytics environment. If other services are increasingly used, Tealium may be the better solution.
